Becky's Kitchen

Hello Everyone!

My family and I decided to fetch my younger sister from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde awhile ago. Then, my mother just remembered that there is a cake shop nearby. Although she doesn't know where it is because she just heard it from her friends at work. So my uncle told us the place...

I was wondering why we stopped at the middle of the road next to an old house. Then, I was shocked when I realize that the old house was actually the store we were looking for. I was quite impressed when I saw 2 security guards guarding the area. When we entered the place, there's this feeling of happiness because of what I saw. I saw a whole array of cakes in glass refrigerators, pastries in shelves and customers picking out their favorite. But for us, since we are first time buyers, we don't know what we're gonna buy.

We decided to buy a caramel cake because we love caramel cake and it is not that expensive. The good thing in Becky's kitchen is that you can buy their cakes in whole, half, or even by piece!
                                                  Caramel Cake (2 slices remaining)

Their caramel cake is a work of pure genius. When I took my first bite, there was an explosion of flavors inside my mouth. The sponge cake was so soft and moist. The icing was just aahhh!!!... delicious. When I think of it, it kinda taste like Goldilocks mamon (sponge cake) but this is way better. The caramel was so tasty and so thick. And then the white icing on top gives the cake a little surprise when you eat it. We don't know how it works but we felt so surprised when it touched our taste buds. A slice of their heavenly cake was enough for me, which I was also surprised because I'm not usually contented on 1 slice.

Our visit to Becky's kitchen was worth it. This visit is definitely NOT over. I will be back again for more delicious cakes to fill my craving stomach.

Becky's kitchen is located in Pablo Ocampo St. Corner Bautista St. Singalong, Manila (near De La Salle University). There's a branch in Pasig but I forgot where it is.

= peace out!
