Dinner at Home

Hi!
I my semestral break is almost over and I'm gonna miss my mother's cooking because we will stay again at our flat in Sta. Mesa, Quezon City. So, I want to share to all of you what we've eaten last night.

Left to right: Salmon Steak, Salmon Salad, Shanghai Rolls

Salmon Salad was new to us because we got our inspiration from Teriyaki Boy. We ordered their salmon salad and thought that we can make on our own because of its simple ingredients. It is composed of:

1. Iceberg Lettuce
2. Cucumber
3. Carrots
4. Salad Dressing (Mayonnaise, sesame oil, sesame seeds, salt, pepper, sugar, )
5. Chips for garnish
6. Salmon

This Salmon steak is seared until it is cooked. No oil is added during the cooking process because the salmon itself already has its natural oil, so no additional vegetable oil is needed. Take note that fish oil is good for the health because it lowers cholesterol level.

We bought this Salmon in a public market in manila. It is in Dapitan corner Kanlaon Street. We got it at 600 pesos per kilo. We bought it right away because we cannot find one in our public market.

These Shanghai rolls are given to us by our Aunt.

Shanghai rolls are pork meat wrapped in thin flour wrapper. I don't know the proper name of it. But it kinda resemble a crepe. It is best partnered with rice and ketchup. If you don't like ketchup, you can use sweet chili sauce

OK guys, that's our dinner last night. Yum Yum!!!!

= Peace Out!!!
